A wild Saturday night - trash cans on fire, drunk drivers, fighting on Fern St, and loud live music - anchored the weekend days from May 4-6 in our town,
Friday, May 4, 2012 Press Log from the San Anselmo Police Dept. 07:12 WARRANT ARREST Officer initiated activity at Red Hill Av/Sir Francis Drake Bl. Pursuant to a traffic stop, John Burke, dob/9-9-65, was determined to be driving with a suspended license and had a misdemeanor warrant out of Contra Costa County. Burke was booked into Marin County Jail and the vehicle was impounded. 08:23 PARKING VIOLATION Occurred on Saunders Av. A vehicle was reported parked in a red zone in front of the residence. RP stated he was unsure if the vehicle was parked legally or not, due to the fact that the red paint was extremely faded. Officer was unable to determine if the zone was enforceable. Reporting Party (RP) reported that his neighbor came over crying and asked him to contact the Police Department (PD) for assistance, possibly regarding an altercation she was having with her boyfriend.
