Beth Huizenga, Neighbor

Beth Huizenga is thrilled to have landed in Novato after almost a lifetime of being on the move. She worked as a broadcaster on more than a dozen radio stations in four states and three countries, including a three-year stint at Radio Bangkok. She moved to California to be an air personality on KFOG in 1994 (as Beth Holland) and during her six years there she met and married her husband and gave birth to two daughters. Beth continues to work in radio as an on-call announcer/operator at KQED Public Radio. An avid student of yoga for almost two decades, she began teaching locally upon moving to Novato in 2008. Beth feels a little like Novato: Down-to- earth but with a few surprises up her sleeve.
