Fairfax Treasure Hunt

The Town of Fairfax Open Space Committee (FOSC) will hold a benefit TREASURE HUNT on Sunday, October 27, with a start time of 12 noon at the corner of Bolinas Road and Elsie Lane in downtown Fairfax.  Participants are encouraged to be at the starting point by 11:30 a.m. for check-in, instructions and tips.

A sliding scale fee of $20 to $50 is requested as a donation to the Fairfax Open Space Committee for each team or individual working to solve Fairfax-themed clues to answer riddles.  Prizes will be awarded to the fastest teams and individuals to answer all the riddles correctly.

There will be a raffle for additional prizes, and open space-themed gifts for all entrants.  FOSC T-shirts, hats and tote bags will be available for sale and a map of Fairfax open space will be on display.  Advance registration is recommended but not required.  Send your name or team's name to:  ffx.treasurehunt@gmail.com or call 415-717-3919.  For more information about this fundraising event, please visit the Committee's website at www.fairfaxopenspace.com .
