Another Boutique Leaves San Anselmo Storefront

Livijan Has Left the Building

The quirky little art and clothing boutique, Livijan and Lopez Art Works at 632 San Anselmo Ave. has packed up and shipped out and the little space is looking for some love. This has been a tough little spot to fill for long. Folks have tried swimsuit and beach wear, a lovely gal opened a clothing boutique just before the flood six years ago but couldn’t stay, Red Door Yoga gave it a shot, and Lilijan tried her best. 

What will fill its shoes? Maybe a little shop filled with modern and antique French wares to accompany ? Or maybe a home goods place for folks looking at all that has to offer? What about a men’s store so that guys getting their hair cut at can find just the right style to go with their new cut?

Mini Make-Over

Head on in to at 564 San Anselmo Ave. for a mini make-over. They’ll make you absolutely beautiful with a make-up session and blow-dry to scare those winter blues away and let you shine. It’s what we all deserve so head on over for your session today!

Things Are Starting to Roll

La Loggia Vinoteca and Café is looking a little more official with a lovely logo up covering the windows of the deerly departed corner of San Anselmo and Tunstead Avenues. This is going to be a truly wonderful addition to our little town, but we’ll all have to be patient -- the remodel is likely to take awhile.

Sales

In terms of stores opening and closing, the news is light, but I can definitely tell you about some great sales all throughout town.

on San Anselmo Avenue is selling things at 40-50 percent off. The is practically giving sunglasses away. With the rain out of here for the rest of the week, this is the time to grab a new pair. Oh, and they offer prescription sunglasses too! And, and are both offering 30-50 percent off sales. 

Really, just about everywhere you look stores are clearing out some of the old for some of the new, just in time for spring. So spread a little love throughout our towns and save some dough all at the same time.

Wonderful Windows

And while you’re out and about, check out the new shop windows. Many local merchants are gearing up for Valentine’s Day (hint, hint guys!) and I highly recommend a minute to take in window. I won’t spoil the surprise here, but it will make young and old giggle and smile. 

However, I don’t recommend that you get anything for the two-legged love of your life from here. My husband did that once and it didn’t go over well, though our four-legged friend does love his stuffed, squeaky chicken. I’m looking forward to something a little more traditional this year (hint, hint, husband).
